On opening the box you simply follow the clear photographic instructions to create your animal or bird stage by stage and from experience i can tell you the task of turning the wool into felt with the felting needle is hugely satisfying!

The kits can take anywhere from 2 hours to finish and the joy of these needle felting is that you can take a break from it whenever you wish and simply pick it up again later unlike more labour intensive activities such as painting which require a higher level of setting up and clearing away.
